A few weeks ago I was approched by an organization called The Heart Gallery to donate a session for a child who is currently in foster care, but had recently become adoptable. They use portraits to help prospective parents 'find' their newest member to be, by putting a face to the child in need of a forever home.
This is Brandon a quiet yet funny and charming little man. I talked , laughed and played with him for nearly an hour. I hope his new parents will find him soon so others can appreciate what a cool kid he is, and love him like he (and all kids) deserve.
The center photo was may favorite of the session, not just because he was showing off his 'mad climbing skills' but in a serendipitous moment a spot of light hit his shirt in just the right way and formed a heart. Because it was completely unplanned I'm hoping this can only be a great omen for this sweet little guy.
